
Slipped Disc

It's a condition where the cushion like substance between the two vertebra move from its original position and may or may not compress the spinal nerves.
Symptoms:
Can have no symptoms, but people may experience:
Pain areas: in the arm, back, foot, or leg
Muscular: muscle weakness, muscle spasms, or overactive reflexes
Sensory: numbness in leg or hand, pins and needles, or uncomfortable tingling and burning stiffness
Treated by Physiotherapist
Imaging: Physiotherapist will perform physical examination, and in severe cases to check the extent of slipped disc we may require MRI
Lab Test: not required unless there is any suspected underlying patholgy
Not every disc needs intervention , treatment includes medication, physiotherapy
